Yes, I agree with this statement.

According to the Right to Equality, every citizen is treated equally by the law, regardless of caste, religion, gender, or wealth. No one is above the law, not even government officials.


However, in practice, sometimes inequality still exists due to social and economic reasons. The Constitution tries to remove these inequalities and ensure justice for all.





4. Why did India give Universal Adult Franchise from the beginning?



India gave Universal Adult Franchise from the beginning because:


  • The freedom struggle was based on equality and justice
  • Leaders believed every adult citizen was capable of making political decisions
  • It strengthened democracy by giving equal political rights to all
